Sneaker poll: Most iconic Basketball shoe of all time

Over the years there have been many basketball shoes,.┬áBeginning with old-school canvas Converse, to the latest and greatest Jordans (pick one). The shoes, or sneakers (as they’re called here in NYC) have become as much a part of basketball culture as the rim and the net.

Which do you think is the most iconic basketball shoe of all time?

  1. Too funny yet interesting…I bet you get a lot of views on this topic. I am not a ‘shoe’ or ‘sneaker’ buff and I admit…I might be swayed by the brand versus the functionality.
    All the best.

    1. Hi Michelle, I’m kinda old school when it comes to sneakers. There seems to be a million pair of Jordans, Kobes, Lebrons, etc…There’s only 1 Clyde (Puma). They are probably the worst shoe to ball in, but man…They are smooth…Lol

  2. This is a cool post and although I don’t wear these types of boots my grandson who is 6’8 loves them so I’ll send him here for a look čÖé

  3. Yep, sneakers are part of the basketball culture. I just remember in high school when my friends introduced me to this culture of basketball player shoes. I used to buy one pair each year, I remember one from Kevin Garnett from fall 2009 I think, black and blue, I love them so much that I cried when they broke.

    1. Hi Guillermo, thanks for checking out the site, and participating in the poll. Those Garnett sneakers you’re referring to was pure fire. I remember them.
      Are you a Knick fan?

    1. Thanks for stopping by and participating Ahmad, Those Lebrons are very nice, a bit pricey but on par for the cost of basketball shoes these days. Continued success to you as well.
